Left over part

I just did front and rear brakes, shocks/struts and bearing hubs on my 2016 SE 1.5. As I’m cleaning up my mess, I found a spacer from between the front right CV shaft and hub.
is this part necessary? Do I need to tear it apart to be put it back on?
