Hi Guys,
I have a strange issue on my Ranger. Not sure what the normal operation is but when I switch on the aircon the pump clutch kicks in "locks" and squeaks for a split second or two then goes quiet. Now this could just be the belt that needs tightening but i can hear it every now and then, meaning the pump clutch switches on and off the whole time. Is this normal? Should it not stay on "engaged/locked" as long as the AC switch in the cab is on or does it regulate and switch on and off the by itself the whole time? Aircon works fine and cools really well, I was just wondering about it.
