Hi, my 2018 Fusion Titanium has 235/40R19,
I have 18” winter wheels that fit correctly. A tire size calculator says I need 235/45R18 for winter tires.
Can I use a 235/50R18 safely without effecting the Fusions systems? Thank you

You can put any size tire in your vehicle as you choose. I have 245/30ZR22 on my 2014. Just know using anything aside from your recommended/oem recommendations... ie: going with a 235/50/18 per your example is going to make your speedometer inaccurate. May I ask why you want to go to a taller profile? It’s a really odd tire size and in the event of a flat, you’re going to have a hell of a time finding a 235/50/18 vs a 235/45/18 and the size difference between them is negligible. Just not sure why you want a different size. 235/45/18 is my stock size. That would be my recommendation for your winter tires.
