2014 ford fiesta se

Hi all
I have a salvaged 2014 fiesta se.

I keep getting the steering wheel shake under braking.

I bought the car with 29k miles and was doing it, replaced rotors and pads, went away, came back around 60k, changed pads and rotors again and only went away for 2k miles, now back.

Any thoughts?

Was the front suspension part of the repair? Is one side worse than the other? IE; did the car car pull to left more as the issue progressed?
What did the brake pads look like when you replaced them? The old pads have a story to tell. Normal wear is evidenced by fairly even pad thickness on both inner and outer pads.
Ramped wear of a pad indicates the slides or pins are not allowing the pad to either release or move within the caliper frame when the brake is released.
A much more wore worn inner pad, the one against the caliper piston, indicates the the piston is not retracting properly and that caliper should be replaced. Stuck caliper pistons will overheat the rotor and warp it, in addition to causing strange wear issues and vibration.
The slide pins are replaceable. Inspect them closely before you jump to the conclusion the caliper is stuck. The pins should be free of corrosion and have a thin coating of high temperature silicone grease on them.
I have also found that some cheaper, aftermarket brake pads do not fit into the caliper frame slides without binding. They will work if you clearance the contact points with a grinder just enough to allow the pad to "slide firmly" within the caliper frame on the stainless steel slide inserts that are clean and lightly greased.
Hope this helps
